NASSIJ : A BOARD GAME FOR AND BY MUSLIM FAMILIES
Designed by, for and with the Muslim community, the board game Nassij encourages kindness and empathy within families. Nassij is a Family in harmony project.

The name Nassij means “weaving”. It was chosen for its deeply positive symbolism.
With this name, we want to convey the importance of the conscious, collective and assiduous effort of all family members to weave a path towards a peaceful and serene life.
Nassij is a cooperative board game in which you embody the members of a family. Your objective is to reach wellness while helping the other members of your family to do the same.
You will have a bag and its contents represent the degree of your own happiness. During the game, the contents of the bag will change depending on the challenges you will have to face!
At the end of the game, look at your bag. Have you reached wellness? If all family members have reached it, you and your family will win the game.

ASSIMILOL : HUMOR AS A VECTOR FOR INCLUSION AND AWARENESS.
F Institute presents Assimilol, a humorous video capsule aimed at raising public awareness about racism and its effects on mental health.
FAMILY CLICHÉS: REFLECTING ON STEREOTYPES TO BETTER DECONSTRUCT THEM
Through the journey of Sarah and Adam, the F Institute video highlights the gender stereotypes transmitted from childhood and their consequences on the development of young people and family harmony. An awareness tool to encourage parents to take a close look at their daily words and actions.
The video “Family Clichés” is part of the Family in harmony project, during which we conducted a study with more than 75 teenagers, parents, and people involved in Quebec's Muslim communities, particularly regarding the education of boys and girls, and to specify the needs on these issues.
This video was therefore created to help understand the issues related to differential education between boys and girls in our families.
We hope that this tool can support Muslim families, among others, in reflecting on their practices in order to achieve better harmony!
