PERSPECTIVES
From an empowerment perspective, where it is important for marginalized groups to share their experiences and become aware of their power, we aim to help build the resilience of young Muslim Quebec women by presenting them with portraits of women living in the same context, facing various obstacles and engaged in society in many spheres.
The Pluri'Elles film follows the journey of six young Muslim Quebec women working in different professional fields. Through their testimonies, they share their challenges and successes, as well as their relationship to their faith.
Pluri'Elles aims to highlight the multiple and complex identities of Muslim women living in Quebec in order to reduce their essentialization and break down prejudices against them.
